Alpine Archery

The Velocitec High Performance Cam... Alpine Archery has raised the bar for 2007 with the introduction of the new Velocitec Cam System. Once again, Alpine is leading the way to revolutionizing the archery industry. The Velocitec Cam System will soon be referred to as the Cam of the Future. The engineers at Alpine are known for their thinking "outside the box" and this year is no exception. The result is a very high performance and equally balanced hybrid 2 cam that sports dual payout grooves. The dual payout grooves on the Velocitec Cam primarily serve two main functions. They stabilize cam lean and keep both cams synchronized throughout the draw cycle. This hybrid feature drastically reduces timing issues associated with conventional 2 cam bows. Timing issues arise when one end of the buss cable is permanently anchored to a fixed position such as the axle. With the Velocitec Cam System, both buss cables stretch from the take up groove on one cam to the pay out groove on the opposing cam. The end result is both cams synchronized in perfect harmony, continually staying in time. Licensed under Patent #6,990,970 b 1 Velocitec, the Cam of the Future...

New for 2009, the Velocitec Cam will feature an adjustable draw stop which allows for the fine tuning of draw lengths and provides a solid back wall. In addition to the adjustment of the draw stop, 1/2" draw modules are also available.

Bowtech & Diamond

Bowtech_logo

Our commitment is to the bow first, because we know that by making an excellent product, customer satisfaction will follow right on its heels. We define that commitment with quality processes that are unique in our industry. Processes like manually shooting every single bow we build and tri-coating the finish on every camo bow. This quality commitment extends into every single area of design and manufacturing. Oh sure, we could take shortcuts that you may never notice, but we go this route by choice. And our Lifetime Warranty puts our money where our mouth is.

Design: good design must meet the two objectives of functionality and aesthetic appeal. BowTech bows are superior in function to any other bow on the market and the fine details of their shape and finish appeal to our broad range of customers.

Engineering: the technology of materials and components, as well as the design and testing of our products, is rapidly evolving. We must continuously enhance our engineering capabilities by inventing and keeping abreast of the latest technologies.

Manufacturing: the execution of our exhaustive research and development reflects our commitment to quality at every stage in the process of putting a bow in your hands. Precision manufacturing and individual testing of every bow are just two components of this dedication to excellence.

Customer Care: we are the guardians of our bows regardless of their stage in life. Our Lifetime Warranty says all there is to say about that. By focusing on the bow after the sale, we focus on you. This reputation for comprehensive customer care extends to every BowTech owner, as well as our entire network of authorized dealers.

Hoyt

Hoyt_logo

At Hoyt, we're powered by something different. We're driven to not just design great bows, but to engineer the world's absolute best bows. Our 2009 line exemplifies our passion for flawless design and engineering. Never before have we taken such an aggressive approach in our research and development. Never before have we introduced a line of bows as innovative and technically sound.

Many companies claim to make the best bows. But where's the proof? Here's ours. We've made our new TEC LITE risers incredibly lightweight without sacrificing an ounce of strength and durability. Although unbelievably light, they still survive our rigorous 1,500 dry-fire test and beg for more. Our new XTS Series Split Limbs breeze through a minimum 1,000 dry-fires - a measure that would make short work of lesser limbs. Every innovative inch of our bows is designed and engineered to last.

Are our testing standards too harsh? Maybe. But the world's best bowhunters and archers trust the Hoyt name, and we won't relax our standards just to rush new products to market. We take our time. We listen to our customers. We deliver what they want. And we'll never stop.

Jennings Archery

Jennings_logo

Tom Jennings penned these words in 1967 when he was discussing the Holless Allen compound bow: "I am very enthusiastic about this new bow. I feel it is the first really new concept to come into bow design in the past thousand years. With research and development, it should develop into a fine, usable, practical bow." At the time, Tom Jennings was Technical Editor of TAM, The Archer's Magazine. He was publishing the first authoritative technical assessment of the new bow shooting device most archers thought would soon disappear. The year before TAM printed Jennings' review of the compound bow, Tom changed the company name to Jennings Compound Bow and ceased production of recurve bows altogether. Jennings also noted "there was no reason to continue building recurves, the compound bow was the ultimate." These words still resonate today.

Jennings bows today are known for innovative design and they set the standard for trophy performance. They are sleek, modern and strong. These bows are the new age of technology in bowhunting. From the new line of CK™ bows featuring Carbon Kinetic chamber limbs and carbon fiber construction, to the development of the patented Shock Stop™ to the patented SwingArm™ Cable Guard, Jennings bows continue to highlight the legendary innovation behind Tom Jennings bow designs.

PSE Archery

Pse_logo

Back in 1970, Pete Shepley used to receive a lot of good-natured ribbing from his fellow product engineers at Magnavox Corporation about his devotion to designing archery related equipment during his lunch hour. Today, Pete heads the largest privately owned archery equipment manufacturing company in the country, devoting all his time to the development of the most advanced compound bows and related equipment ever produced.

In the early days, Pete experimented with new ideas for bow release aids, developed a plastic, flexible arrow vane to replace feathers, and eventually turned his design capabilities to the perfection of his first compound bow. This first bow was introduced to archers at an Indiana tournament. Within a week he received orders for 200 just like it. The following two weeks saw an additional 700 requests from across the country, simply from word-of-mouth advertising.

With humble beginnings in a 700-square foot building in Mahomet, Illinois, PSE was one of the first five companies to obtain licensing under the Allen Patent for compound bows. Of the original five, PSE is the only company still manufacturing compound bows.

In 1982 PSE moved its entire operation - employees and all - to Tucson, Arizona, incorporating the manufacturing and production in one location. As a sharp contrast to the modest 700 square foot original location, PSE's corporate offices, factory, and pro shop facilities practically fill an entire city block in central Tucson.

Archers can count on PSE to bring advanced manufacturing techniques to the industry. PSE was one of the first companies to machine bow risers and accessories from solid aluminum. PSE pioneered the four stage forging process for bow risers to create strong, lightweight bows.

PSE, as the industry's leading manufacturer, holds twenty patents for bow design and archery products. These improvements spread throughout the industry to everyone's benefit, not just PSE. "Research and development are the most expensive stages in manufacturing," Pete Shepley explains, "but we're committed to it and to making the whole industry grow, not just our slice of the pie."

The Company is now nested in approximately 23,000 square feet of office space, and 120,000 square feet of manufacturing and warehouse space in beautiful Tucson, Arizona. As is tradition, incoming (raw materials) and out going (shipping) warehouses are located on opposite sides of the facility to streamline production.
